Zucchini fries is a great and nutritious alternative to classic potato fries. I bet everyone will fall for it. Baked with no additional fat will definitely steal hearts of every fit-lover.
You will get a lot (and I mean A LOT) fries out of the amounts given in this recipe; but better not to reduce it, because they are really addictive perfect as a snack during evening film marathons. Great for the Sunday night before working Monday 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 3 large zucchinis
  • 1 glass milk
  • 1 tbs inactive yeast flakes
  • 1 glass crushed cornflakes
  • 2 tbs mixed spice (instead of salt)
  • 1 glass rice flour

How-to:

Wash the zucchinis and cut into fries. Take 3 separate bowls and pour milk with spices and yeast to the first one, cornflakes to the second and flour to the third one. Cover each fry with milk, flour and cornflakes.
Place on the baking-paper covered tray and bake in 180C for 25 minutes.
My fries are pretty chunky, because I double-covered it with milk and flour coating, but believe me, that makes it even more delicious!
