This pumpkin chutney can be made hot and savory (perfect for burgers!) or sweet.
I used this particular sauce to flavor the Fitnik burgers, and they won the flavor contest!
So let’s use the pumpkin season to make this chutney; I used the sweet version to bake a delish pumpkin pie (recipe coming soon!) Pumpkin chutney is so good that I am sure you gonna love!
I don’t need to mention that pumpkin is yummy and healthy, right? But, just to remind you, I’ll say that it’s a great source of vitamin A, B, PP, and so much needed in the fall vitamin C. It also contains a decent amount of iron, magnesium and phosphorus, which is a reason why we should eat pumpkin as often as we can! Pumpkin contains a lot of protein, so it is a super food for sport and fitness lovers, and all the others who conduct an active lifestyle. But the most important is that it is a versatile vegetable which always taste great: in soups, curry, cakes or hummus!
